Description
Several faculty members at the Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science (RSMAS) at the University of Miami are accepting applications for Ph.D. Research Assistantships. The majority of the Ph.D. students are supported as Graduate Research Assistants during their study, typically for five (5) years. These assistantships provide an annual salary of $30 312, tuition, and health insurance.

Deadline for Spring 2021/Fall 2021
For the Spring 2021 session, applications received prior to November 15, 2020, will be reviewed.
For the Fall 2021 session, applications received before January 1, 2020, will be reviewed. To increase the chance of an assistantship, applications are encouraged to be submitted by December 1, 2020, for Fall 2021.

- Emma Pontes: Completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Miami with a double major in Marine Science and Biology and a minor in Chemistry, earned her MPS degree at the UMiami in Tropical Marine Ecosystem Management and is now getting her Ph.D. at RSMAS in the marine biology department.
