The Economic Science Institute (ESI) at Chapman University invites applications for a two-year Postdoctoral Fellow position beginning in August 2021. The full-time position requires a recent Ph.D. holder who has a substantial research interest in game theory or experimental economics, with emphasis on the theory of contests and its applications.
Duties or responsibilities
- Working alongside a faculty member to conduct research
- Producing high-quality research and presenting research findings.
- Organizing, programming, and undertaking computational and/or laboratory experiments.
- Participating in seminars.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
This position will have no teaching or administrative duties.
Eligibility
- A Ph.D. in an appropriate field.
- Strong analytical and computational skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to produce high-quality research.
- Ability to collaborate with other researchers.
