Under the Project “Economic valuation of nature-based solutions for climate and pandemic-resilient cities”, the Department of Economics and Management and Department of Civil, Environmental and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Trento is inviting applications for a Research Assistant. The position will be funded by the project for up to 16 months (until 31st December, 2022). The postholder will apply non-market techniques for the evaluation of citizens’ preferences for specific characteristics of urban forests associated with health and well-being that encourage or dissuade public use. The specific research agenda is flexible and will be decided considering the postholder’s research interests and aspirations. The postholder will contribute to a number of high-profile research publications, thereby providing a springboard for their career.
Eligibility
- Applicants are expected to hold a four-or five-years degree in Economics or Economics and Business Sciences (a PhD title is not mandatory).
- Experience in quantitative methods, programming languages (e.g. html, Python) is required
- Interest in multidisciplinary research is highly appreciated.
