The Institute for Economics in the Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Sciences of Kiel University invites applications for a W 2 Professorship in Economics and Ethics to start at the earliest possible time. The future job holder shall be responsible for the subject area Economics and Ethics in research and teaching.
Eligibility
- Demonstration of excellence in the field of Economics and Ethics from an economic perspective and fitting the research orientation of the Institute of Economics.
- Publications in highly ranked, peer reviewed, international journals
- The use of quantitative methods, e.g., by analyzing survey data, conducting experimental studies, or the economic modeling of ethical or unethical behaviors is required.
Requirements
- Relevant teaching experience
- Experience in securing external grants.
- Willingness to contribute to the research priorities of the Faculty and the Kiel Institute for the World Economy and to cooperate across disciplines and other institutions at the University.
- Participation in the Gustav Radbruch network is encouraged.
- Active participation in the education of doctoral students is expected.
- Willingness and ability to instruct in German and English are required.
