The Freedom Center at the University of Arizona is inviting applications for a postdoctoral fellow for the next academic year. The mission of the Freedom Center is to promote the understanding and appreciation of the ideals of freedom and responsibility along four dimensions: published research, undergraduate education, general education, and community outreach. This full-time position will pursue research activities related to the candidate’s expertise of study. This position will work closely with the managing editor of the Social Philosophy and Policy Journal, have the opportunity to facilitate courses in the Master in Legal Studies Law and Economics concentration, and assist with other Freedom Center activities.

Eligibility
- The ideal candidate will pursue self-directed research. The ideal candidate should have a recent Ph.D. in Philosophy, Economics or Law that will fit in with the research of the Freedom Center.
Roles/ Responsibilities
• Conduct interdisciplinary research in Philosophy, Economics, or Law.
• Assist managing editor of the Social Philosophy and Policy Journal.
• Assist the Director of the Master In Legal Studies program.
• Assist the Curator of the QR libraries.
