Loyola University Chicago’s School of Environmental Sustainability is inviting applications for a full-time non-tenure-track teaching position to begin August 2022. This position’s teaching responsibilities will include courses in Environmental Sustainability (ENVS283) and Ecological Economics (ENVS335). These courses explore the economic and social aspects of sustainability and require a candidate with a strong background in natural sciences and economics. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in sustainability science, economics, or a similar degree, with a specialization in a field related to ecological economics or natural resource economics.
Eligibility
- Candidates for the position must clearly demonstrate their potential for excellence in teaching and devotion to student success.
- Candidates must have a Ph.D. in economics, agricultural economics, applied economics, ecological economics, resource economics, sustainability science, ecology, public policy, or a closely related field.
- Underrepresented minorities, women, and people with disabilities with experience teaching undergraduate courses as the instructor of record will be given strongest consideration.
