Esade Business School is inviting applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher in Barcelona, Spain, to work on a project entitled ‘Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Information Disclosure’. The successful candidate will work closely together with the Principal Investigators, Dr. Ariadna Dumitrescu and Dr. Anna Bayona in a highly active research environment. He/She can also be part of ESADE Group of Research in Economics and Finance.
The aim of this project is to empirically and experimentally examine the determinants of ESG disclosure, its role in creating long term firm value and the use of ESG information by investors in their decision-making process.
Roles/Responsibilities
- Design of studies
- Development of hypotheses
- Data gathering and analysis
- Preparation of results for diffusion and submission for publication
- Co-authorship of academic articles
- Preparation of deliverables for grant funding body
Eligibility
- The selected candidate should hold a PhD in Finance or Economics defended before September 2022
- A thorough knowledge of the research field of sustainable economics or finance is required.
- The candidate must have excellent quantitative analytical skills, including knowledge of advanced statistical software packages
- He/she must have experience with empirical or experimental methods.
