Alliance Manchester Business School, University of Manchester, UK is inviting applications for a Research Associate in Behavioural Science to join the Behavioural Research Laboratory. The position is perfect for a postdoctoral researcher who wants to develop their research experience in preparation for a faculty position. Salary is in the range £27,924 to £40,927, depending on experience. This is a full-time post, for two years, starting as soon as possible.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Pursue a program of independent research in a relevant area of applied behavioural science
- Collaborate with behavioural research faculty and students from various areas of the School to coordinate and conduct new studies
- Oversee the development and day-to-day operations of the Behavioural Research Laboratory.
Eligibility
- Applicants for Research Associate must have a PhD in the behavioural sciences or a related area (e.g., psychology, cognitive science, cognitive or social neuroscience, experimental economics, or organisational behaviour)
- Applicants for Research Assistant must have a master’s degree in the behavioural sciences or a related area
- Preference will be given to those with significant experience of undertaking high quality behavioural and psychophysiological experiments (e.g., eye tracking, electrodermal activity/GSR, ECG, EEG, and/or HRV) in a relevant area
