The University of Bonn is inviting applications for a Post-doctoral researcher to join our group at the Institute for Applied Microeconomics. The position is available from 1st October 2022, for an initial period of three years, after which an extension is possible. The research group runs the BonnEconLab, collaborates closely with the Cluster of Excellence ECONtribute, the briq Institute on Behavior and Inequality, and the IZA Institute of Labor Economics (https://www.iza.org).
The Postdoctoral researcher is expected to engage in joint research projects and to publish in international journals. The working language is English. All teaching at the graduate level is conducted in English. Salary and benefits are according to a public service position in Germany (E13 TV-L, full-time position). Funds for travel and guests are available. A reduced rate public transport travel pass is available on request.
Eligibility
- The ideal candidate is a recent Ph.D. with excellent knowledge of applied microeconomics, behavioral economics and/or applied microeconometrics
