Wageningen University and Research is inviting applications for a Postdoctoral position in Biodiversity and Financial markets. The selected candidate will join the Environmental Economics and Natural Resources group to work with Prof. Francisco Alpizar and Dr. Suphi Sen. She/He will also be part of a European team of scientists working on biodiversity finance. The start date is 16th May, 2022.
Eligibility
- The selected candidate must have completed a PhD in economics
- Experience with both quantitative and qualitative research methods
- Command of the English language is expected to be at C1 level
- Interest and demonstrable skill in publishing in renowned scientific journals
Requirements
- Ability to communicate clearly and comfortably with scientists, consultants and policy makers
- Interest in biodiversity finance and/or the financial sector
- Interest in restoration and wetland restoration in particular
