The University of Tennessee and Mississippi State University is inviting applications for a post-doctoral research associate for the area of natural resource and environmental economics. Support from USDA-NIFA Grant will be available for one and a half year, full time with the expectation of renewal for additional time contingent upon satisfactory performance and available funding. Eligibility
- Ph.D. (or expected Ph.D.) in Economics, Agricultural & Resource Economics, Quantitative Ecology, Quantitative Geography, Applied Mathematics, Mathematical Biology or Engineering, or closely related field
- Subject-relevant publication record in peer-reviewed scientific journals
- Relevant quantitative and programming skills (e.g., SAS, Matlab, Stata, R, ArcGIS)
- Experience in dynamic economic models, bioeconomic modeling, and/or decision-making under risk and uncertainty
