The Natural Resource Economics Program at the University of Florida, Southwest Florida Research and Education Center, Immokalee, FL is inviting applications for postdoctoral research associate to conduct innovative research in the areas of practice adoption, conservation policy design, and risk management.
The position is a full-time for 1 year with the potential for renewal based on satisfactory performance and funding. The position is available immediately. Screening will begin on August 8, 2022.
Eligibility
- Applicants must have a Ph.D. in agricultural economics, environmental and resource economics, energy economics, operations research or related field
- An outstanding ability to perform thoughtful, critical quantitative analysis
- Experience in computational methods linking economic models with biophysical and hydrological models, econometric methods, survey design and spatial analysis
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Interest in working with interdisciplinary researchers
- Ability to obtain a Florida driver’s license.
