The University of Southern Denmark is inviting applications for two positions as postdoctoral researchers in Disaster Risk Financing. The two positions are available from April 1, 2023 for two years with the possibility of an extension for up to three years. The position is located at the SDU campus in Esbjerg, Denmark.
The suitable candidates will have the opportunity to join an ambitious project where we address how the financial industry and governments can co-manage sustainable transitions under threat from catastrophic risks to develop resilient societies.
Eligibility
- Strong research potential
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment
- A PhD in insurance mathematics, economics, or closely related field
- Fluency in oral and written English is required
- Previous work experience with risk management and/or insurance-related research (optional)
