The Faculty of Management, Economics, and Social Sciences of the University of Fribourg (Switzerland) is inviting applications for a Professorship in Strategic Management (Open rank) at the Department of Management. The position includes a fully funded Ph.D. position (100%). The expected start date is September 1, 2024.

The future professor will teach French and English courses at the Bachelor’s and Master’s levels. The courses should cover different aspects of strategy and strategic management (e.g., business and corporate strategy, strategic planning, strategic alliance management). The successful candidate must have demonstrated the ability to publish regularly in leading scientific journals in the field of strategic management.

Eligibility

  • Candidates should have a doctorate (Ph.D.) in management or in a related domain, preferably specializing in strategy or strategic management
  • A strong research record
  • Excellent teaching skills
  • Fluency in French is required, and knowledge of German is considered a plus

  1. You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this matter to be actually something that I think I would never understand. It seems too complex and very broad for me. I am looking forward for your next post, I will try to get the hang of it!
