University College Dublin, Ireland School of Architecture is inviting applications for a permanent Lecturer/Assistant Professor post in Environmental Economics and Policy. This is a permanent position. Salary Scale is €60,261 – €95,425 Per Annum.
The successful candidate will join a strong team and contribute to teaching on BSc and MSc programmes in Environmental Policy as well as contributing to modules of relevance to the College of Engineering and Architecture and the wider university. The successful candidate will be willing to act as a future programme director and contribute to delivery of executive education.
Eligibility
- Applicants must have a PhD in environmental economics and policy
- A commitment to evidence-based research and a high-quality publication record
- A strong quantitative research and teaching ability
- A capacity for graduate student supervision
- A commitment to high-quality university-level teaching
Requirements
- An enthusiasm for working collaboratively in an interdisciplinary context to promote policy impact
- A team player with excellent interpersonal skills; and, a level of awareness of equality, diversity and inclusion
- Methodological research interests and an ability to teach environmental economics, behavioural economics, policy analysis and environmental policy design are mandatory requirements.
