The Abdul Latif Jameel Pverty Action Lab (J-PAL) North America is inviting applications for undergraduates to pursue research opportunities in economics or related quantitative social sciences. Interns learn how economic research can be a tool for understanding poverty in North America and how research advocates for evidence-based policy that alleviates poverty. Part-time, paid internships occur this Fall for 16 weeks.

Eligibility
- Students intrigued by economics and its practical policy applications, serving as a foundational step towards future study or career opportunities in social science research
- Undergraduate freshmen, sophomores, and juniors interested in learning more about career pathways in research and evidence-based policy who have not yet had social science research work experience
Interns follow a hybrid schedule and must be able to commute to Cambridge.
