Polytechnique Montreal is inviting applications for a a Master’s or PhD candidate to work on the project titled, “Creation and Improvement of Services for Integrated Mobility“. This project builds upon ongoing efforts to transform public and active transportation offerings, adapting them to new societal and economic realities. In this context, users demand integrated, diversified, and synchronized mobility services to benefit from a quality experience with fast and efficient connections. Such a system must also be sustainable to have a significant impact on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and ensuring equitable access for diverse users while respecting their privacy.
Candidates are sought with the aim of exploring contracting scenarios between different service providers, so that pricing schemes and transfers are compatible with i) stakeholders’ adherence to the service; and ii) a reduction in GHGs. The successful candidate will be recruited into one of the programs offered by Polytechnique Montréal’s Department of Mathematics and Industrial Engineering and will work at CIRRELT, GERAD, CIRODD, and with the RRECQ
Eligibility
- Applicants with an interest and expertise in at least one of the following areas: transport economics, environmental and natural resource economics, game theory, economic modeling, circular economics, dynamic programming, etc.
