Description
The University of Erfurt (Chair of Economic Policy and Public Economics) is currently accepting applications for a Ph.D. candidate. The candidate should be interested in working on the design, implementation, and analysis of field experiments in higher education. The position comes with no teaching obligation, as it is part of a larger research project (Behavioral Informed Interventions in Higher Education) funded by the German Ministry of Education and Research. The starting date is April 1st, 2021 or later, compensation is 65% TV-L 13, and the initial contract holds till 31st January 2024.
Eligibility
Applicants should possess the following:
- A Master’s degree or equivalent in economics or another pertinent discipline.
- A good command of Microeconometrics
- Knowledge of behavioral economics is a plus, due to the type of interventions run.
