The University of Edinburgh Business School invites applications for a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Energy Finance. The UEBS welcomes applications from candidates who will develop courses in Low Carbon Energy and Infrastructure/ Project Finance. The selected lecturer reports to the Head of Accounting and Finance Group.
Eligibility
- A Ph.D. in Finance, Energy Finance, Infrastructure Finance, or Carbon Finance or in a relevant discipline·
- Research interests and expertise in one or more of the following areas: energy markets, renewable energy, project finance, low carbon infrastructure finance, climate or sustainable finance
- Candidates who have defended their thesis and being awarded their Ph.D. degree subject to minor corrections will also be considered.
- A developed area of research and achievement of quality publications covering topics such as energy, energy finance, climate finance, or sustainable finance, as evidenced by at least one existing publication
Requirements
- Competence to teach on programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels (and have some successful experience of teaching).
- The skills appropriate to the delivery of courses in Low Carbon Energy, Infrastructure/Project Finance, or Climate/Sustainable Finance.
- A developed area of research and achievement of quality publications covering topics such as energy, energy finance, climate finance, or sustainable finance.
