The Department of Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology at Auburn University is inviting applications for a postdoctoral fellow/research associate to conduct innovative economic modeling research working within Dr. Ruiqing Miao’s research group in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology at Auburn University.
Eligibility
- A Ph.D. in agricultural economics, environmental and resource economics, energy economics, operations research, or related field at the time employment begins
- Experience in performing quantitative modeling and analysis
- Experience in computational methods linking economic models with biophysical and hydrological models, econometric methods, dynamic optimization, survey designs
- Excellent communication skills
- Interest in working with interdisciplinary researchers on topics related to renewable energy economics
