Apply as a Postdoctoral Researcher in LKYCIC

The Lee Kuan Yew Centre for Innovative Cities (LKYCIC) at Singapore University of Technology and Design is inviting applications for a full-time Research Fellow interested in behavioural research to join an inter-disciplinary project that aims to study trust-related behaviours, preferences, and propensities towards Artificial Intelligence (AI) innovations and AI-implementing organizations.

This is a contract position. The term of appointment will be 2 years, extensible to longer terms upon satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Roles/Responsibilities

Research and write literature reviews
Work closely with the Principal Investigator and research team to refine project research design, including the formulation of research questions and hypotheses, and choosing appropriate methodologies
Conduct experimental data collection activities
Conduct data analysis
Help prepare manuscripts and reports for publication
Communicate research with public and private stakeholders and collaborators
Provide administrative support for research projects
Contribute to the preparation or, where appropriate, individual preparation of research proposal submissions to external funding bodies

Eligibility

A PhD in economics (preferably, with a focus on experimental economics), psychology, management, organisational behaviour, sociology or closely-related areas. Fresh PhD graduates who have submitted their thesis are encouraged to apply
Familiarity with or prior research experience on AI technologies and their consequences
An interest in and some knowledge of, trust dimensions of technological advancement

Requirements

Strong demonstrated skills in quantitative analysis. Preference will be given to candidates who work with R, STATA, Python, MPlus
Experience conducting experimental research
Excellent writing and communication skills
Sound organisational and data management skills
