The College of Business of the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) is inviting applications for one postdoctoral researcher in the any of the fields highlighted in the ‘Eligibility’ section with a related doctoral degree in economics, management, public policy, political science, or behavioral science.
The position is immediately available for two years. The overall guaranteed annual salary is about 400 thousand RMB (before tax, including all benefits and subsidies), whereas other subsidies are subject to eligibility/competition and the most updated policies. The position is mainly focused on research with no teaching obligation and minimal administrative burden.
Eligibility
- Experimental economics and behavioral economics, broadly defined with potential applications to management, labor and personnel, and policy analysis. Possible areas of interest include, but not limit to, pro-social behavior (e.g., cooperation, coordination, trust, charity), social preferences, social responsibility, teamwork, payment and incentive scheme, experiments and theory in personnel economics, subjective well-being, attitude regarding the role of government (e.g., redistribution, welfare, economic and social intervention), as well as applications of experimental & behavioral economics in business, organization, and public policy.
- Applied microeconomics especially labor, personnel, organization, public, development, and political economics
- Applied economic theory especially on topics related to those in 1) and 2)
- Strong candidates in organizational behavior, human resources, strategy management, marketing (with heavy behavioral economics elements), and public policy (with focus on urban and social policies) are also welcome.
