The Center for Experimental & Applied Economics (CEAE) at the University of Delaware is inviting applications for a qualified candidate to serve as a postdoc researcher for a one-year appointment, renewable for up to three years dependent on available funding and performance. The selected candidate will contribute to experimental economics research in the Risks, Impacts, & Strategies for Coastal Communities (RISCC) project, funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF). This project brings together researchers and community stakeholders from three EPSCoR jurisdictions representing the lowest-lying states in the country–Delaware (DE), Rhode Island (RI), & South Carolina (SC). The overarching goal of this project is to advance convergent science to empower communities that are disproportionately affected by dual, interacting climate hazards–flooding and salinization–to make effective and inclusive adaptation decisions that support long-term climate resilience.
