The Department of Public Service and Administration in the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University is inviting applications for a tenured or tenure-track position at the assistant, associate, or full professor level, with expertise in any field related to public policy, starting in August 2025. This is a full-time 9-month appointment with a standard 2-2 teaching load.
Roles/Responsibilities
- Make significant contributions in the areas of scholarly research/creative work, teaching, and service
- Carry out a vigorous program of policy-relevant research
- Contribute to undergraduate and graduate teaching
- Provide service to the university and the profession
- Well-prepared to teach policy analysis, public finance, microeconomics, and/or quantitative methods.
Eligibility
- A Ph.D. in economics, public policy, political science, or a closely related field in hand by date of hire
- Must demonstrate a commitment to high quality research and teaching
