The Bartlett School of Environment, Energy and Resources (BSEER) in the University College London is inviting applications for two Research Fellow/Senior Research fellow positions targeting policies introduced to stimulate energy efficiency, energy innovations, and reduce CO2 emissions. It is based in Central London (UK). The full-time position has a salary grade (with London allowance included) of Grade 7 £36,770 – £44,388 per annum or Grade 8 £45,610 – £53,757 per annum.
Eligibility
- The successful candidates will have a first and higher degree in a data analysis discipline, e.g. econometrics, economics, statistics, machine learning or engineering
- He/She will also have a PhD or near to completion, or commensurate experience, in econometrics, economics, statistics, machine learning or engineering.
- Practical experience of quasi experimental methods for program evaluation is essential
- Excellent ability to deploy several data analysis techniques, beyond quasi experimental methods
- To be considered for appointment at Grade 8, an independent research reputation or comparable professional standing/experience is essential
- Track record of prominent roles in completed research, consultancy or policy analysis projects (up journal publication if conducted in an academic environment)
- Ability to make substantial contributions to research funding proposals
