The Department of Geography and Environment in London School of Economics is inviting applications for a Fellow in Environmental Economics. This is a full-time, fixed term appointment for one year, renewable up to a further two years subject to funding. The salary ranges from £37,197 to £44,802 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £48,168 pa inclusive.
Roles/Reponsibilities
- Work as part of a team teaching on the department’s undergraduate, postgraduate, and online programmes on environmental economics and policy, as well as developing their own research agenda
- Participate in wider departmental and School activities as required, as well as carrying out administrative duties, whilst fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment.
Eligibility
- Candidates should have completed, or be close to completing, a PhD in economics, environmental/resource economics, or a closely related field by the post start date
- Very good knowledge of the field of environmental/resource economics is essential
- Relevant teaching experience
- The ability to work in close partnership with fellow teachers
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
