The Sapienza University of Rome is inviting applications for a European Ph.D. in Socio-Economic and Statistical Studies for four fully-funded three-year positions. Each scholarship amounts to €19.800 per year, increased by 50% during visiting periods abroad. In the course of the program, Ph.D. students will have the possibility to apply for additional research funding schemes. The Ph.D. programmes train students to carry out scientific research and improve their research methodologies. A Research Doctorate is awarded after 3 years of study, the completion of assigned research activities and the presentation of a final dissertation. When filling application, candidates should select the ‘European Ph.D. in Socio-Economic and Statistical Studies’ as the first option. Successful candidates will develop a research project on Behavioural Environmental issues.
Eligibility
- The PhD programme is open to applicants who hold a Master’s Degree or equivalent degree obtained abroad.
Suggested topics are available in the Annex A of the ‘Call for Applications’. However, the topics in the list are merely indicative and subject to changes depending on the student’s projects and attitudes. In any case, successful candidates will spend six (6) months at a firm in partnership with the Ph.D programme.
