The Department of Economics, the Division of Environment, and the Division of Social Science in the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) are inviting applications for one joint position in environmental economics at any rank (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). Teaching may be at the undergraduate, Masters’s, and Ph.D. levels.
HKUST is an English-speaking research university with international faculty. Hence, international candidates are encouraged to apply. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. at the time of appointment. Salary is highly competitive and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. Housing benefits will also be provided where applicable. Initial appointment for Assistant Professor/Associate Professor will normally be on a three-year contract, renewable subject to mutual agreement. Appointment for Professor will be on a substantive basis. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of the contract.
