California State University, Los Angeles is inviting applications for a Graduate research assistantship on climate extremes and remote sensing. The specific research topics are climate extremes including drought, flooding, wildfire, and heatwave analysis using remote sensing observations in Southern California. The benefits are $24,000/year which includes an academic stipend and a summer internship at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL)
Eligibility
- US Citizens and lawful residents with interests in climate change, data analysis, geospatial modeling
- Should pursue an MSc. program in Environmental sciences for Spring 2025
- Underrepresented minorities, females, veterans, and students with a disability are strongly encouraged to apply.
