The Center for Economic Research on Governance, Inequality and Conflict (CERGIC) at Ecole Normale Superieure (ENS) de Lyon is hiring a PhD student in the areas of Public Economics, Political Economy and/or Economic Development on a three-year fixed term. The position will start on Sptember 1, 2024. The successful candidate will receive a monthly gross salary of 2100 Euros and will be based at CERGIC.
Access to research funds will be provided to support the candidate’s academic work. There is no mandatory teaching load associated with this position. However, PHD students at CERGIC have the option to supplement their PhD grant through teaching activities in the Advanced economic track of ENS de Lyon, where courses are taught in English.
Interview of selected candidates will hold online from May 21st, 2024 to May 24th, 2024. The release of admission decision will be on 24th May, 2024.
Eligibility
- Must hold a Master in Economics equivalent to the Master in Advanced Economics
- Must show outstanding committment to research in economics, with strong quantitative skills
