The Institute of Digital Economics in the Technical University of Hamburg is inviting applications for a Research associate with an interest in digital economics, decision making under uncertainty or experimental methodology. Full-time limited to 4 years. Remuneration is based on remuneration group 13 TV-L.
Roles/Responsibilities
- Implementation of research projects in the fields of digitization and microeconomics
- Presentation of work results at conferences and publication of articles in international journals
- Participation in teaching and supervision of final theses (Bachelor’s and Master’s theses)
- Assumption of project management tasks and support in applying for third-party funding
Eligibility
- Very good completed scientific university degree in economics, business informatics, industrial engineering, business administration or another relevant subject.
Requirements
- A strong research interest in the influence of digitization on markets and organizations or in current topics of behavioral economics
- In-depth knowledge of empirical research methods (esp. Econometrics or experimental economic research) and microeconomics
- An independent and conscientious way of working, high self-motivation, ability to work in a team and openness
- Very good knowledge of English
