Dr. Bodhi Chauduhri in the University of Connecticut is inviting applications for two fully funded PhD students in the group in the areas of Multi-Scale Computational Modeling for the upcoming Fall 2024.
Dr. Chaudhuri’s group’s research is focused on unraveling the fundamentals of pharmaceutically relevant soft matter and complex fluid systems (granular materials, aerosols, suspensions etc), which has a direct effect on the economy and the health of our nation’s citizens. His group is involved in developing experimentally validated multi-scale (quantum, molecular, meso and machine scales) computer models related to pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Eligibility
- Local students (already in US/Canada) with BS/MS in Chemical/Biomedical/Mechanical/Materials Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Physics, Chemistry, Math are requested to apply.
- Students with some experience in any of the following – (a) programming (C/C++/Matlab/Java/Python), (b) CFD modeling, (c) Molecular Modeling, (d) AI/ML are preferred
