The School of Economics at the University of Queensland, Australia, is inviting applications for a funded PhD position to work on an experimental project combining behavioral and political economics. This Earmarked Scholarship project is aligned with a recently awarded Category 1 research grant. It offers you the opportunity to work with leading researchers and contribute to large projects of national significance.
As a scholarship recipient, the selected candidate will receive living stipend of $28,854 per annum tax free (2022 rate), indexed annually, tuition fees covered, as well as single Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC). Successful candidate must commence by Research Quarter 3, 2023.
Eligibility
- A working knowledge of econometrics and stata
- The applicant will demonstrate academic achievement in the field(s) of economics and the potential for scholastic success
- A background or knowledge of economics is highly desirable
