The Energy and Environmental Policy Research Division in the School of Public Policy at the University of Calgary is accepting applications for a Post-doctoral Scholar in Energy and Environmental Policy. The candidate’s primary work will be aligned with the University of Calgary’s Global Research Initiative in Sustainable Low Carbon Unconventional Resources Theme 2 research, focusing on tight oil and gas resource exploitation challenges. The incumbent is expected to contribute to the School of Public Policy’s academic environment by attending and contributing to research seminars, presenting their work, and providing approximately 15 hours per week to ongoing research for Energy and Environmental Policy Research Division projects. The selected candidate will directly work under Dr. Jennifer Winter’s supervision and with potential collaborators from an interdisciplinary team of researchers at the School of Public Policy and GRI Theme 2. The initial appointment is for one year starting on a mutually agreeable date and is renewable for a second year on mutual consent, satisfactory performance, and funding availability.
