A two-year postdoctoral position is currently available to work on the economics of marine recreational fisheries. The project will make use of data from a smartphone app that tracks angler behavior during the day, offering a unique opportunity to study how value is revealed not only by site choice but by decisions during a trip. The position will offer multiple opportunities to publish papers offering new insights into the travel cost model, recreational behavior, and the value of marine environments.
While the funding is secured, due to administrative hurdles, an official job announcement is still not available. Hence, interested candidates should send a brief email to Richard T. Woodward. A link to the official announcement will be sent as soon as it is posted.
