The new El-Erian Institute for Behavioural Economics and Public Policy is inviting applications for a Post-Doctoral Research Associate position. It is led by Professor Lucia Reisch, the inaugural El-Erian Professor of Behavioural Economics and Public Policy. The El-Erian Institute is a new interdisciplinary institute housed in the Department of Politics and International Studies and supported by the School of the Humanities and Social Sciences.
The Research Associate will work on different research-related tasks, overseen by Professor Lucia Reisch. The tasks will include (but not be limited to): design of field trials in international settings; supervising field experiments; supporting local data retrieval and analysis. The position has a clear research focus and high publication potential, and may also allow for career-developing teaching. The salary ranges from £32,816 and £40,322. The funds for the post are available for 3 years.
Eligibility
- Candidates with backgrounds in behavioural economics and/or psychology and related disciplines, is required with
- Strong expertise in quantitative research methods and field work (mainly: field experiments, surveys) are invited.
- Candidates should have a PhD degree, publication experience, and strong quantitative methods skills.
- Knowledge of social data science methods is welcome. They should provide evidence of interest in policy engagement and sustainable development.
