The Institute for Food and Resource Economics of the University of Bonn is inviting applications for a doctoral student position in Agricultural and International Trade Economics. The position comes with a 3-year work contract according to TV-L E13 (65%) in the German salary system for public servants. The doctoral researcher will develop and employ empirical approaches and econometric techniques to study the relationship between trade and biodiversity and related mediating factors.

Eligibility
- M.Sc. (or equivalent) in applied economics or related fields Interest or experience in agricultural, environmental, or trade economics
- Strong background in quantitative analysis and econometrics Interest in interdisciplinary collaboration
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Knowledge of French, Spanish, or Portuguese is an asset
- A highly motivated, flexible, team-oriented player
