The University of Fribourg Switzerland is inviting applications for with a strong interest in behavioral and experimental economics. The position is available as of September 1st 2022, but the starting date could be flexibly postponed until February 1st 2023.
The position is focused on conducting research and carries a limited teaching load. 50% of the position are financed through the University of Fribourg, the other 50% through a Swiss National Science Foundation grant on “Incentive Contracts with Nonstandard Beliefs and Errors in Statistical Reasoning.” The position includes a travel budget for participation in international conferences.
Eligibility
- An interest in behavioral economics and experimental methods is required.
- Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in economics or a related field, preferably with a specialization in behavioral economics, organizational economics and /or empirical (experimental) methods.
