The Department of Sociology, Environmental and Business Economics of the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) is accepting applications for a post-doctoral position in the Economics and Management of sustainable food, water and/or energy transitions. The position is located at the campus in Esbjerg. The starting date of the position is August 1st, 2022 or as soon as possible thereafter. The position is for 2 years with the possibility of extension.

Roles/Responsibilities
- The candidate should have interests that complement the research group, Management and Economics of Resources and the Environment (MERE).
- Some teaching is expected.
- The candidate should have an interest and ability to teach in the department’s programs in Environmental and Resource Management (MSc), Risk management (MSc), and/or Business Economics (BSc).
Requirements
- Appointment to the position requires a PhD or equivalent and will be in accordance with the salary agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations.
- Systems thinking
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, and breadth in social scientific approaches are particularly desirable.
- Research application to Marine, Arctic and Nordic systems is anticipated
