The Behavior Change for Good Initiative (BCFG) at the University of Pennsylvania is inviting applications for two full-time Research Assistants. BCFG is led by Professors Katherine Milkman, Angela Duckworth and an interdisciplinary team of over 140 world-renowned economists, computer scientists, doctors, and psychologists. BCFG specializes in conducting large-scale field experiments designed to promote sustained behavior change. These two positions are ideal for individuals interested in pursuing a Ph.D. in behavioral economics or a related field and who are seeking to gain more research experience before applying to graduate programs. The Research Coordinators will support the work of the team of scientists and will work particularly closely with Professors Katherine Milkman, Shlomo Benartzi, John Beshears, Colin Camerer, and Angela Duckworth. The anticipated start date for this position is June 2022. The salary range is between $36,401.00 and $65,521.00
Eligibility
- Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree with 1-2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must possess a background in Economics, Psychology, Behavioral Economics, or Behavioral Science
- The ideal candidate will have taken classes on econometrics and be proficient in either STATA or R
- Must be comfortable working on UNIX servers
