Masaryk University Experimental Economics Laboratory and Centre for Non-profit Sector Research are currently inviting applications for a full-time Assistant Professorship position bridging research interest in non-profit organizations and experimental or behavioral economics at Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic. The Assistant Professorship position has an initial 3-year initial contract, with a possible tenure-track extension. The candidate should have a research interest in one or more of the following areas: non-profit organizations, public economics, public policy, and administration, or experimental and behavioral economics.
Responsibilities
The position entails the following:
- Successful academic publishing and acquisition of external research grants.
- Teaching bachelor’s and master’s courses in public economics and/or economics of the non-profit sector.
- Supervision of bachelor’s and master’s theses.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Economics (or related fields); or graduation expected by the end of July 2021
- A demonstrated ability to write high-impact international publications
- Proficiency in the English language
- Teaching experience and knowledge of e-learning
