The Center for Empirical Research in Economics and Behavioral Sciences (CEREB) at the University of Erfurt is inviting applications for PhD candidates, supported by a scholarship awarded by the University of Erfurt. The CEREB is an interdisciplinary research group with special interest in different aspects of human decision making. The Scholarship Period is awarded for three years for a maximum of 4 years. Funding Amount is € 1.400 per month with an extra family-allowance (€300 for one/the first child plus €150 for any further child). The funding Start Date is January 1, 2023 (at the latest April 1, 2023).
As a member of the group, the selected candidate will have the opportunity to connect to researchers in the following fields:
Behavioural economics, social and health psychology, organizational psychology, organization & management, corporate & business ethics, corporate governance, individual and group decision making, child decision making, medical decision making & health communication
Eligibility
- Produce above-average examination results that proof an excellent qualification for scientific work
- Be accepted as doctoral candidate by one of the University’s faculties or the Max-Weber-Kolleg by the beginning of the funding period
- Be matriculated at the University of Erfurt by the beginning of the funding period
- Be a member in one of the Graduate Centres or the Max-Weber-Kolleg by the beginning of the funding period
- Be able to provide a current proof of insurance through a health insurance by the beginning of the funding period

- A full copy of final thesis for the completion of Diploma-, Magister-, or Master-degree;
