The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is inviting applications for the IPCC Scholarship Programme from doctoral degree students who have been enrolled for at least a year, as well as those conducting post-doctoral research. Research proposals focusing on climate change and related issues are encouraged, as well as other topics such as: Living soils, biodiversity, regenerative viticulture, agroforestry, water management, Indigenous Knowledge Systems and terrestrial carbon cycle. Each scholarship award is for a maximum amount of 15,000 Euros per year for up to two years during the period 2025-2027.
Eligibility
- Applicants should be citizens of a developing country
- Students from Least Developed Countries and Small Island Developing States not studying in their country of origin will be prioritized
Applications will only be received via the application portal and applicants who will not provide all the required documents will not be considered.
