The University of Sussex is inviting applications for three Lectureship appointments in the Department of Economics. The position is open to candidates for the Education and Research pathway (research and education focused). The University seeks expertise across all areas of Economics and Econometrics. Applicants in the field of Behavioural and Experimental Economics are strongly encouraged to apply.
Candidates willing to be considered for pre-interviews during the EEA Job Market Meeting should submit their application by 10th December 2021. Candidates willing to be considered for pre-interviews around the ASSA 2022 Virtual Annual Meeting should submit their application by 27th December 2021. The final deadline for applications is 11th January 2022. Interviews will be conducted remotely by video starting January, 2022.
Requirements
- Candidates should demonstrate potential to conduct leading edge research in economics.
- They should have a doctorate, or equivalent, in economics. In addition to
- Must be highly research active
- Must be able to teach and assess both undergraduate and graduate students
- To upervise doctoral students
- Contribute to departmental and university administration.
