The College of Business of the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) is inviting applications for a postdoctoral researcher in the following fields with a related doctoral degree in economics, management, public policy/administration, political science, or behavioral science:
- Experimental economics and behavioral economics, broadly defined with potential applications to management, labor and personnel, and policy analysis. Possible areas of interest include, but not limited to, pro-social behavior (e.g., cooperation, coordination, trust, charity), social preferences, social responsibility, teamwork, payment and incentive scheme, experiments and theory in personnel economics, subjective well-being, attitude regarding the role of government (e.g., redistribution, welfare, economic and social intervention), as well as applications of experimental & behavioral economics in business, organization, and public policy.
- Applied microeconomics, especially labor, personnel, organization, public, development, and political economics.
- Applied economic theory, especially on topics related to those above
Strong candidates in organizational behavior, human resources, strategy management, marketing (with heavy behavioral economics elements), public policy/administration (with focus on urban and social policies) are also welcome.
The two-year position with an overall guaranteed annual salary of about 400 thousand RMB (before tax, including all benefits and subsidies), whereas other subsidies are subject to eligibility/competition and the most updated policies, are mainly focused on research with no teaching obligation and minimal administrative burden.
