Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei is inviting applications for the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships.
For the current MSCA Postdoctoral European Fellowships call, FEEM is interested in receiving proposals in the area of:
- Integrated modelling of climate change adaptation in coastal areas; top-down versus bottom-up approaches.
- Nature-based solutions and social innovations for climate mitigation and adaptation.
- Micro and/or macroeconomic models to assess the Water-Energy (and Food) nexus in an uncertain framework.
- Decarbonization, renewable resources: microeconomic models for evaluating investments in condition of uncertainty.
- Agent based Models for Environmental Economics and Energy transition.
- Measuring trade-offs and synergies among and between SDGs and targets of the Agenda 2030.
- Modelling the impact of high VRES penetration, hydrogen and increased frequency of adverse extreme weather events on the European and Italian power and gas systems to define resilient decarbonization strategies.
- The impacts of climate policies on labour reallocation and skill mismatches: theoretical and empirical evaluations.
- Distributional effects of climate policies and green deal plans on workers using matched employer-employee and job posting data.
- Common Movement of Commodity Prices and the Macroeconomy.
- Common movement analysis with co-integration and factor models.
- A monetary policy model accounting for commodity price co-movement: an application of Factor-Augmented Structural VAR model.
- Moving Forward Through the Energy Transition: Re-evaluating the Role of Energy Commodity Markets in the Global Economy: Analysing the relationship between energy key-sectors and economic fluctuations in a Global Structural VAR context.
- Investigating the Impacts of Energy Shocks on Energy-intensive Firms.
- Identify global market shocks (Macro analysis).
- Assessing the impacts of global market shocks on firms’ performance.
Eligibility
- Candidates must be in possession of PhD and cannot have more than eight years of research experience after PhD, at the time of the deadline of the call (14/09/2022); candidates who have successfully defended their doctoral thesis but who have not yet formally been awarded the doctoral degree are also eligible.
- Eligible researchers can be of any nationality and must not have resided or carried out their main activity in Italy for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately before the call deadline (14/09/2022).

The selected candidates will be supported in the development of their project proposals that must be submitted to the European Commission by September 14th, 2022 (h. 17.00 CET).
