InnovateHealth Yale (IHY) and the Sustainable Health Initiative (SHI) are inviting applications for dedicated graduate students to support innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives at Yale during the 2025-2026 academic year. These fellowships offer hands-on experience in program coordination, event planning, and student-led health and social impact ventures. This role is ideal for a student interested in learning more about Yale’s innovation landscape and who possesses strong project management skills.
The InnovateHealth Yale Innovation Fellow will support innovation-related work at the Yale School of Public Health, including managing IHY impact grants, supporting outreach efforts, and helping with communications strategies.The Sustainable Health Initiative Innovation Fellows will support global health innovation efforts, working with student teams developing health startups and NGOs. Fellows will serve as peer coaches and act as liaisons between teams, staff, and mentors.
Fellowship begins in August 2025 at the start of the academic year. It runs from August 2025 to May 2026. The first key event is the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Expo in late August. Fellows will receive a $2,500 stipend for the academic year, with a commitment of approximately five hours per week in a hybrid work arrangement.
Eligibility
- Must be a Yale School of Public Health graduate student enrolled for the 2025-2026 academic year.
- Commitment of approximately 5 hours per week.
- Hybrid work arrangement, with some in-person event participation required.
