The World Bank is inviting applications for an IT internship programme for people who desire to work at the forefront of development and share fresh ideas, new perspectives, and broad research experience. Applicants will be notified by the end of March 2025 if they will be invited for interviews. Selections will be made in April 2025 and the new group of interns start early May 2025. The internship period is from May to August.
Eligibility
- Candidates with interests in operations and support functions. Internship opportunities depend on business needs and typically include those studying economics, finance, human development (public health, education, nutrition and population), social sciences (anthropology, sociology), agriculture, environment, engineering, urban planning, natural resources management, private sector development, and corporate support (accounting, communications, human resources, information technology, and finance)
Requirements
- Have an undergraduate degree
- Be enrolled in a full-time graduate study program
- Be fluent in English
- Knowledge of additional languages, including French, Spanish, Russian, Arabic, Portuguese, and Chinese, is desirable.
- Strong computing and other technical skills will also strengthen your application.
