Application Deadline: 23rd April, 2021
The Canadian Resource and Environmental Economics Association (CREEA) invites Ph.D. students and early career researchers working on topics in Resource and Environmental Economics to a 2-day workshop that would be held virtually on 16th and 17th June 2021.
Sessions are built around 30-minute presentations, giving participants the chance to expose their ideas and get feedback from junior colleagues and senior scholars. There will also be some social time to provide an opportunity for participants to network, exchange ideas and experiences, and get to know each other. The atmosphere is informal and collegial.
This year’s keynote guests are Kimberly Rollins, Professor, Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics, University of Connecticut, and Brandon Schaufele, Associate Professor, Business, Economics and Public Policy at the Ivey Business School, University of Western Ontario. They will provide feedback on presentations and lead economics career workshops (tips on finding research topics, navigating the job market, getting papers published, managing the tenure process, etc.).
